Being stressed negatively impacts our ability to perform even simple tasks, it impacts our relationships, it certainly effects our health and vitality and it certainly makes it difficult to feel good and enjoy a solid sense of well-being!

The journey to stress-free living begins with awareness.
In this first step we need to earnestly look, recognise and acknowledge the presence of unhealthy stress and anxiety in our lives and appreciate the negative impact stress has on the quality of our health, wealth, relationships and our ability to feel safe and at ease in our world.
If we are committed to eliminating stress in our lives then we must be sincerely honest in accepting the reality of our stressful experience no matter how much we dislike it, no matter how much we don't want to admit we're stressed and no matter how much we are wanting it to go away!
What you resist will persist!
Einstein stated: " You can't solve a problem at the level at which it was created"
It's really essential in the process of reducing and eliminating stress and anxiety that we are able to shift our state of being from a state of victimhood where we identify with all the entanglements taking place at the mental/emotional level and move into a place of compassionate detachment.
Shifting to a higher perspective in itself doesn't mean all the stress will suddenly disappear but it will certainly start the process of loosening the pattern's hold on you and facilitate the healing process .

Reflecting on the lessons that we together extract from exploring the stressful experience can lead to creating a valuable action plan for eliminating stress at its roots and replacing stress and anxiety with increased calmness, clarity, empowerment and inner peace.
If we don't learn from stressful situations it can be that life in it's infinite intelligence will keep throwing up more situations, often progressively more dramatic, until we do finally learn!

With your personal action plan/stress-busting strategy in place, the final step in The Zenology Way is to check your progress by "future pacing" and ensuring you have arrived in a state of natural ease and gratitude.
When you look ahead and "future pace" potential life happenings where previously you may have succumbed to stress you'll quickly be able to assess your level of progress - if when you look ahead the feeling of ease, relaxation, excitement and gratitude shows up then you're good to go!
